I can dance with the stars, too

Today I went to Wal-Mart, after our GREAT English 101 teacher let us out of class early. I had to spend forever looking through the movie section, in attempt to find some kind of dance workout video. After searching through the whole three isles of movies, i did what Wal-Mart is known for, and I asked for assistance. The lady who helped me had no idea where the videos were either, but she decided to ask another worker where they were. We wound up in the sporting goods section, and there they were, by the big exercise balls and yoga mats. I decided to get two of them, one of them was Dancing with the stars: dance off the pounds, and the other one was 10 minute solution: hip hop dance mix. I went home and started with the dancing with the stars DVD, since it is more known. It ends up that the DVD was teaching me swing and things of the sort. I turned it off and  put in the other one. I t was crazy how easy it was to learn some hip hop n\dance moves, and it only took ten minutes. By the end of the 10 minutes my heart was pounding and i was glistening with sweat. The purpose of this is to tell you that dancing is a GREAT way to burn calories and get in shape.

  1. Glistening after sweat after ten minutes!? Geeze, that sounds like you had a hell of a workout. I heard dancing is one of the easiest things you could do to lose weight, and people always wonder how backup dancers look so good! Have you ever played Just Dance? That’s what I use to do ‘actual’ dancing. Well, that or Danjo. Though, my sister doesn’t really let me use the wii much, but when I do, I usually just play that. It’s REALLY fun, though, some of the dances are just silly! I play it for so long (because it’s fun, not because I force myself) that I don’t notice how long I’ve been playing till my sides cramp up. If you haven’t tried it, I highly suggest it. As mentioned before, it’s a ton of fun!
